Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Sales person to promote and sell our field crops such as maize, wheat, paddy, mustard to farmers and distributors. The role involves extensive field travel, farmer engagement, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell field crop products to farmers, dealers, and distributors
- Conduct field visits, farmer meetings, and product demonstrations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Monitor crop performance and provide technical guidance to farmers
- Collect market intelligence on competitor products and pricing
- Ensure product availability and visibility in the assigned area
- Support promotional campaigns and field days
- Prepare daily visit reports and sales updates
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, B.Sc. (Agri), or related field
- 1-5 years of experience in agri-input sales or field sales
- Strong knowledge of field crops (cereals, pulses, oilseeds, cotton, etc.)
- Willingness to travel extensively in rural areas
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build trust with farmers and dealers
